Future of Hope in Wigan
The week long event in May is the first of many community initiatives throughout this year and it is hoped beyond. Hope in Wigan’s vision is to continue the work that has been going on ‘behind the scenes’ for many years and bring that work to the forefront of our Community.
Hope in Wigan, then, is a launch pad for ongoing engagement between the church and the community to work together to make Wigan a stronger and safer place. We believe that there is strength in unity and so aim to continue to work tirelessly with Local Government, Social Action groups, Businesses and, of course, the wider church to bring Hope in Wigan.
The long-term vision of Hope in Wigan is to work towards uniting the church as ‘One’ across Wigan. This unity will enable us to ‘synergize’ from the broad and diverse range of resources that is abundant in our churches, and combine them in order to top quality and relevant initiatives to our community.
