What is Hope in Wigan?
In the first instance, Hope in Wigan is a week of unique events organised by a partnership of churches that has become known as 'One'. The churches that partner in ‘One’ have met weekly for over ten years as a group to pray for our town -

These events have appealed to many people and have in their way brought hope to the town Hope in Wigan, however, is much, much more than a week of brilliant events. Hope in Wigan’s purpose is to share God’s message of love to the good folk of Wigan, as we believe that this is the only way to truly bring sustained hope to life.
Driven by the success of similar ventures that have taken place in communities in Salford and Liverpool, Hope in Wigan has seen the amazing life-changing results that occur when the good news and reality of Jesus Christ is combined with community projects. All involved with Hope in Wigan are committed to seeing the same levels of success.
